As I advanced in my surgical career, I grew to understand that the patient experience for those under my care entails much more than the actual surgery; there are many more “touch points” between my team and the patient than I ever realized. There is the initial interaction to schedule the appointment, the front desk encounter at the consultation visit, discussions about insurance and finances, scheduling surgery and all associated appointments, pre-operative discussions, the surgery itself, and post-op care, to mention a few!

In prior offices that I have worked in, the staff was working for many doctors aside from myself, and they were just too busy to give each patient the personal attention they deserved. I grew increasingly frustrated, as I was unable to control all of these encounters. No matter how well I could take care of a patient, the entire experience could be tainted by other aspects of the process.

I wanted to give my patients a truly wonderful experience from start to finish that I could be proud of. I wanted every aspect of the care to reflect my vision of how the patient experience should be. So, I hand-selected a group of like-minded, caring, warm, compassionate individuals to support me in my goal. And this is how Elite Oral and Facial Surgery was born. We are a team of real people, who share a passion not only for healthcare, but also for making those under our care happy, one beautiful smile at a time. We truly feel that each of our patients is a member of our extended family. And this is how we conduct every aspect of what we do.
